RESOURCES

CHALLENGES

We’ve all had a song stuck in our heads.  Likewise, we may have had a boyfriend or girlfriend lodged in our thoughts.  In the same way we ought to have our minds stayed upon the Lord - abiding in Him and having Him abiding in us.

  1. 1. Does the Lord occupy your mind?  Is He in your thoughts sometimes, occasionally or seldom?

  1. 2. How intentional are you about living in constant relationship with the Lord?  Are you intentional about your daily conversations with the Lord?

JOURNAL:

Prayerfully consider these questions and your answers.  Journal your thoughts and take the appropriate steps to grow closer in your relationship with the Lord.  What steps will you take?  Review the contents of previous chapters for the Lord’s direction.  He will surely answer your desire to increase your abiding in Him and your fruitfulness.

Just as a wedding ring is a symbolic reminder of a lifelong commitment, wear a symbolic reminder that you are to abide in the Lord.   Designate a bracelet, a necklace or some other item that you’ll see throughout the day as a memory jogger.
